RAM Concept is the product of a partnership between RAM International and SCS Inc., the producers of SCS FLOOR, which is already in use by hundreds of design firms.  With RAM Concept, engineers can design an entire elevated slab or mat foundation, no matter how complicated, in just a few hours. RAM Concept easily accounts for steps, openings, complicated loadings and other irregularities. Developed for reinforced or post-tensioned structures, RAM Concept will save you precious time and money in designing concrete structures.
 We find that the 3D FEA solution in RAM Concept (formerly SCS FLOOR) provides many benefits over the strip method, including easier drawing creation and giving us much more confidence in results on complex structures. We also find that we can analyze and design entire floors much quicker than with strip methods. We are very excited about the plans for RAM Concept and its upcoming interface with the RAM Structural System, as we have utilized both these products in our office for quite some time.

RAM Concept is a finite element program for the analysis and design of post-tensioned and reinforced concrete floor systems and mat foundations. Input into RAM Concept is via a Windows CAD-type interface, in which an engineer draws the slab, beams, supports, loads and tendons in plan. AutoCAD files can be imported into RAM Concept and used as a tracing background that can automatically "snap" mouse clicks to the appropriate points. RAM Concept’s graphics make working in the program both pleasant and productive. Simply put, RAM Concept is the best concrete slab and mat design software available.
